Anna Hirsch / Singer, Composer, Producer
At an early age Anna began to sing and never stopped. In addition to her own projects MARIA RIA (electronic Art Pop, 2023 unreleased), FLEEB (Art Pop) and HILA PUNTUR (Art Pop), she is a member of the jazz quintet Ikarus (Contemporary Indie Jazz). Ikarus is part of the priority jazz promotion of the Swiss cultural foundation Pro Helvetia since 2020 and regularly on tour in Europe and Japan. Her duo FLEEB released its debut album „Drip Baby“ 2019 on HOUT records, the follow-up album "Moon" was released in June 2023 on Radicalis Music GmbH. FLEEB has played at renowned Swiss festivals such as Bscene Basel, unerhört! festival Zurich and Offbeat.
As a composer, musician and performer Anna also participated in various theater productions f.e. at Theater Basel and Stadttheater Freiburg, 2021 as co-director in a piece development with Bachelorstudents of Musikakademie Basel. In 2016 Anna was a recipient of the Friedl Wald Foundation, which enabled her to do a composition residency in New York and as one of the selected musicians, she was participant of the project SOFIA (Support Of Female Improvising Artists). In 2018, Anna was recipient of the Lions Club Basel Cultural Award and co-founder of the Basel-based music label HOUT Records, which operates as a sub-label of Radicalis Music GmbH.
